I don't want the choices above to reflect in any way on your efforts to develop relationships. My wife and I were interested in a second home on the Cape. We grabbed your info off a sign (or may have responded to a property on line). We didn't search or compare brokers. Pat Moore reached out to us to inquire about our interests after we expressed some interest in a property. I shared our objectives. He continued to email listings that fit our objectives and engaged us along the way. Despite our low interest in buying at the time, Pat stayed with us and continued to share properties. We wanted to stick with him because he was clearly working on our behalf. We spoke to no other brokers after that. We were surprised a number of times at how quickly Pat responded to our questions, and how often he proactively reached out to check on how things were going, especially once we engaged our bank and attorney to move forward with P&S and closing. Always accessible, always responsive...and just a nice guy to work with...don't ever undervalue that. Pat is a very calm guy, very patient and attentive to what he was hearing from us. Those skills/attributes came in handy on more than one occasions. He talked us off the ledge a few times when we were frustrated by some of the seller's actions/demands. He was also very thorough outlining the process step by step once we decided on the house we wanted to pursue. Just as important, he has connected us with some local tradesmen to do some of the work to make this home our own. We don't want to in any way take away from the performance of your staff, but our relationship was all built around Pat. We didn't have much exposure to your staff other than Pat. He is Leighton Realty to us. Once we realized that Pat Moore was someone who was listening to our interests, and clearly doing the work to find us our Cape home, we were all in to work with him only.
