Small Items, Big Impact: Bernie Wynant Hosts Successful Back-to-School Drive for South Shore Students
Heading back to school is a big moment, and Bernie Wynant stepped up to lead a high-impact effort ensuring local students start day one fully prepared.
Operating on a simple yet effective premise - "Bring one school supply. That’s the whole ask." - the Back-to-School Drive set out with a mission: fully stock 24 backpacks for South Shore students in need. Every single pencil, eraser, notebook, and folder collected went directly toward equipping students with the tools required for academic success.

To add extra excitement to the initiative, donors were entered into a raffle drawing for every item contributed, competing for gift certificates provided by local sponsors.
The collection effort brought together community members, local businesses, and families who dropped off everything from composition books, highlighters, and crayons to scissors, glue, and filler paper.
A Message of Thanks
Thank you to everyone in our South Shore community who stepped up during our Back-to-School Drive! Whether you donated a single box of crayons, a stack of notebooks, or multiple complete sets of supplies, your generosity made a tangible difference.
A special thank you to Bracks Tavern in Middleboro for hosting our collection site. As a result of your kindness, 24 local students will head into this school year with confidence, pride, and every tool they need to thrive.
More community initiatives are just around the corner - stay connected!
